The Call

The Call

This is movie is intense and will keep you at the edge of your your seat. Halle Berry plays a 911 operator, she receives a call from a young lady who is home alone when a serial killer breaks in. Halle tries to keep her calm and walks her through all the proper moves while the intruder is in her house. The phone disconnects and what happens next is heart wrenching. Halle is devastated for several months. Another call comes in from a young lady that was abducted and was calling from a trunk of a car. Halle talks to the girl and tries to keep her calm while every attempt is made to safe her life. The young lady encounters a lot of horror, but Halle stays close. The movie is worth seeing it's an eye opener and you will learn many strategies on how to stay save.

Silver Linings Playbook


This movie is is funny, sad and deals with a series of different mental illnesses. Bradley Cooper plays the role of being bi-polar and obsessed with his ex-wife who cheated on him. Robert De Niro plays the character of the father he also has OCD and needs everything orderly when he gambles in sports. Jennifer Lawrence award winner has her own problems. Her cop husband is killed and she is battling her past promiscuous behavior that was setoff with the death of her husband. At times the movie is intense and the acting is superb. It comes together nicely, but not without a lot of tear shedding.
